Bottle -- My introduction to American beers was through the magnificent Anchor and Sierra Nevada (had quite a few SN porters on tap in LA once and have been in love ever since!) . So this one wasn’t so much a beer as a shock to the system. It seems Miller is cashing in on the popularity of Corona with a slice of lime, but has robbed us of the only redeaming quality of that tipple: The novelty of having a slice of lime bobbing about in the bottle. It’s refreshing, it’s light, it’s only vaguely cloying, but it isn’t beer!

Just a "hint" of lime? No way, Miller. It’s overpowering and has a funky aftertaste. Still, offer me one of these on a hot summer day and I would not turn it down.

Bottle. Why am I rating this? This is not beer. It’s liquid jolly rancher. The pour was almost like pouring seltzer water with a hint of yellow. It’s unlike the other Miller brands that have a urine yellow, this one is just light yellow. Weak pale head. Aroma is a bad mix of a lime soda and corn. The flavour is, well, as I stated earlier, like a liquid green jolly rancher. Now, I wouldn’t consider this a grotesque flavour to cause this beer to be a drain-pour. It’s bad, but it’s not nauseating. At the very least, it’s chuggable without gag reflexes. The after taste is pretty bad, though. But that’s when you chug it again or furiously drink some water.

Bottle. [Thanks to Shig]. Clear light yellow color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate citrus soda. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to short duration. Body is light, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (161207)

Heck, why not. Crystal clear golden pour with a small white head. Lemony-lime aroma. Lots of carbonation. The lime really attacks you. One-dimensional, fizzy lime beer. It’s not horrible and it might be good with some mexican food, who knows.
