From what I’ve heard, this is to replace MGD LIght, so perhaps a new entry is in order. Light watery straw color with a somewhat plastic shimmering white head. Some lace. Faint scents of grain, grass and light resin. Tonic water feel from the start. Even has a mild quinine bite. No sweetness from malt found. A faint hint of malt in the middle and a touch in the finish. Really not much in flavor here. I could see mixing this with some of the more flavorful NA brews to help add some flavors. I think that sums things up.

Little more than an Alcohol Delivery System, this is the palest of the pale and the least flavorful beer I’ve ever had. That’s not to say i’ts the worst: There’s nothing to dislike here either because it simply a void; Utter nothingness.

UPDATED: JUN 25, 2008 bottle - Well, it’s another fizzy yellow beer. This one brags about being the lowest calorie beer available. It’s clear and bubbly with a very mild grainy aroma. The flavor is sweet and light. As one would expect, there’s really not much to it. It’s not an awful taste, so I guess I’ve had worse beers. Actually I think it’s a little more flavorful than the 68 calorie Beck’s Light. It’s thin, watery, and there isn’t much of an aftertaste. And yes, it’s a different beer than MGD Light.

Pours a pale pale yellow with a light head, lots of fizz. Smells of corn. Tastes like watery corn. But, for 64 calories, what can you expect? It’s better than Bud Light.

This is MGD light 64. Unsure if this is the same as MGD light. Aroma is water and sweet corn. Disgusting. Wy wife loves this shit as it only has sixty four calaries. What is the point.

They changed this beer to a watered down 65 calorie serving of fizz water. The original was at least drinkable...this stuff I would not even use to soak bratwurst in. Horrible stuff. Little to no flavor, lots of fizz, a slight aroma suggesting that beer might have once been in the can. This is the beer equivalent of the "new coke".
