Representing a true innovation in American brewing, MGD's patented cold-filtered process fashions the smooth drinkability of draft beer available in bottles and cans.

Here is the process for making this beer: An old stinky guy drives around in a green datsun frantically mopping up all the spilled beer from Anheuser Busch breweries. Then, once a week, he wrings the mops out into a nice looking bottle, labeled with an acronym that has gained favor with the yokels. There’s just something Cletis likes about saying, “I’ll have an MGD!!!!”

The aroma is tangy/dank and the color reminds me of...well...this same stuff about a half-hour from now...Same quality to the filmy head. The flavor features slight sweet foundation with very mild-mannered hops and only moderate carbonation. The balance is quite acceptable if lacking any sort of complexity. This brew also has more body than most of its Milwaukee macro-brethren, leaving it a cut above many of them. Finish is essentially flavorless. Overall, the best endorsement is that it doesn’t say ’Light’ on the label.

Picture this.. a man urinates in a cup. Another man drinks this cup, and then urinates in the now empty cup. A prankster comes along, and puts an MGD label on the cup, and serves it to me. Now, maybe this isnt what happened.. but it may as well have. Proves absolutely anything can don the ’beer’ label, regardless of quality level. Avoid at all costs.

This is a regular in the fridge, because everyone who likes beer will drink this. It’s not bad, and very drinkable.

Really good beer, extremly smooth, very good flavor, a bitter aftertaste but a good one, not the kind that makes you gag. much better than miller high life.

If you have to drink American macro swill, it isn’t that bad. I would say it’s between this and michelob in a redneck bar.

Slightly more interesting than Miller Lite, but still nothing to write home about.
