Smelled a bit funky out of the can (maybe it was the aluminum?) but smelled almost like a light sour ale. A bit of fizzy carbonation, but I like this (basically just Miller in general) more than most other macro swill because there is actually an intelligible hop presence. | 0.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Jul 25, 2008 All that was left by the time I got to the office party. Corn syrup taste, texture and aftertaste - very much like a cola. Gotta get there earlier next time to get me one of them Heineken ales... patricks110 (293), Alberta, Canada
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jul 22, 2008 Golden straw colour with a medium to small sized head. A malty and grainy aroma is permeated by hints of skunyness. You know from the aroma that this beer probably will not taste good. A taste of bad grains and yeast. A good beer to have a dozen of if that is your plan. Else, you have been warned. KimJohansen (7308), Copenhagen V, Denmark
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 21, 2008 Clear golden with medium white short lasting head. Sweet malty and grainy aroma. Sweet flavor. Ends sweet. malty and fruity notes. CasperQuaffer (142), Casper, Wyoming, USA
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jul 20, 2008 The aroma is of faint rotting grain and old grass clippings. Good foam and the bubbles keep on comin’. The flavor is very grainy with a faint yeasty finish. Beer for those who don’t know better. SamGamgee (1477), Santa Cruz (La Selva), California, USA
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jul 19, 2008 12oz can. Light gold color with a wispy head that has poor retention. Cooked corn aroma. Clean flavor, with some light sweetness, almost no bitterness or aftertaste. A little more body that miller lite, but still hopelessly watery. Not really offensive, but I’d take most anything else over it. mmmbeer (766), Austin, Texas, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jul 16, 2008 (Sampled 7-4-08 at cousin’s party- From quarter barrel keg served in Red Solo 20 oz. plastic cup... the way it should be!!!)- poured with a minimal white head that went away a little too quickly, weak golden yellow in appearance. Aroma of metal and staleness. Hits the mouth with a paper thin body, I got what I thought was a little malt with the first swallow but it was fleeting, a microscope size amount of hops on the finish. One of those beers that makes your mouth go dry the more you drink it- and one that I throught was really good when I was growing up. Hey, at least it helped with the entertainment as the enambler of trying to shoot down the neighbor’s RC planes with bottle rockets!!! Now that was fun! Beatanalyst (10), Bensenville, Illinois, USA
