Originally reviewed: 7/20/09. Grabbed a 24oz can of this at the grocery store the other night. For $1.29, why not? Poured into my pilsner glass a crystal clear light yellow with a massive frothy off-white head on top. Excellent retention, looked like a milkshake. Tons of spotty lacing all over the glass. This is a really pretty beer. I’m impressed. Smells of corn, slight breads, and a touch of honey. The mouth is pretty slick and wet. Flavor is really mellow and bland. Some husky grains in the mouth that finishes a tad sweet. Bitterness is low to absent. I could drink a few of these on a camping trip, or after a day in the yard. I thought this was much better than the "High Life" counterpart. Not bad.

I feel bad giving this 0.5. Why is there no 0 option? Tastes like water with some alcohol

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330 ml bottle at a party. Pours clear gold, no real head. Corn aromas. Sweet taste. Astringent finish. Not very good, not surprisingly!

Pours a clear light golden colour with 60 second head. Slightly metallic on the nose, musty as well. Watered down taste with no real malt or hop character. no hop flavour. Thin mouthfeel, not very carbonated either.

33cl. bottle from AH supermarket. Clear pale golden color, small fizzy white head that disappears within seconds, a bit of lacing; aroma sweet, honey, corn, grassy, citrus; taste is sweet, slightly bitter, rather neutral; light body, watery texture, lively carbonation; light bittersweet finish.

Bottle. Pale yellow with small foamy white head, doughy aroma, high carbonation, crisp slightly sour taste with abrupt finish. Another boring pale lager, although one of the better examples.
