750mL can from the Beer Store. Innocuous. Plenty of corn in the nose and the flavour, but it doesn’t try to hide it, rather, it’s not entirely unattractive. As far as cheap beers go, surprisingly good.

Jul 26, 2008 can. Smooth. A bit better than MGD I think. High life is truly the champaign of macro swill. Very drinkable, very inoffensive and clean.

Jul 15, 2008 Opened a 32 oz. I smell malt, thin hop notes and grass. Head is white and the beer is yellow and light. Light hint of hop citrus and esters of orange. I smelled a strong grassy feta cheese from Greece and then took in a deep smell of the beer. The malty smell you get is very nice. Subtle American grains. Like driving past a field of dry wheat. Carbonation is just right and the finish is smooth. Wish this was a little more malty on the palate. Mouth feel is silky and bright. Very Bohemian but a little thin and watery. At least 1 major American brewer gets it right. Considering that this beer is brewed for mass consumption it is not only drinkable, it’s delicious.
