3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hint of corn and almost some malt on the slightly sweet, yet subtle nose. The flavor is pretty much the same – slightly sweet hint of malt, maybe a bit of corn and little generic sugary flavor. The carbonation comes to wash away the flavor almost as soon as I can start to taste it. There is a bit of a metallic (not quite hoppy) aftertaste, but it’s not harsh.
I think overall this is definitely a serviceable brew for the category. I don’t think it’s as “clean” (or perhaps ’flavorless’) as Bud though, it has more character. The lingering corn and metallic flavor almost simulate real beer flavors, almost.

16oz can poured into my 3 Floyds pint. Urine sample golden yellow. Lots of fuzzy bubbles rising to the top for minutes retaining a puffy yellow head. Taste is american lager all the way. Tough to differentiate between them. They all have the same bad taste, so I usually prefer less flavor. This seems to be right in the middle. If it’s cold you can drink it quickly, but it would be hard to get drunk as you would spend too much time peeing. On a side note, the fact that the picture is of a 40oz is awesome.

Was given one by a neighbor while trick-or-treating. A staple of college life that brings back memories.

12 ounce can. Big yellow pour. Taste is total corn and sugar. Light and fizzy. As much as it’s not my thing, I’ve had far worse.
