12oz bottle acquired in trade with ughsmash - thanks! Poured a meidum and clear golden color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of stronger grains with breadiness and citrus. Tastes of mainly grains. For what it is - a Miller Lite beer- this one was kinda drinkable. Thinner body and tastes though.

Light golden color with a moderate white head. Only hint of scents in the aroma. Perhaps a little toasted malt. Light caramel flavors, with an emphasis on light. Dry soda water finish. A touch more flavor than the regular Miller Lite. So at the ballpark I might just have to go with this one.

Pale gold pour with off-white head. Aroma is pale malt, mild honey notes, perhaps a bit of citrus. Tastes watery, with some pale malt and honey flavors, but not enough flavor or balance to make any meaningful impact on me.

Sampled via 12-oz bottle at Cellars Wine & Spirits in St Paul, MN. Pours a clear golden pale brew with a fast dissolving white head that dissipates to a fine film and thin white ring. Aroma of light multi-grain malt, lemon zest, some grassy hop character and a touch of white pepper. Taste is light bodied, spritzy, along with an early infected vinegar flavor that hides most of the caramel malt flavor. Finish is metallic, slight vinegar with a mild bitter aftertaste that quickly disappears. A leaner towards the offensive side which make this as my least favorite of the series.

Thanks to Bob for the bottle! Poured clear, bright, lighter orangey-golden with a short cap of fizzy off-white head. The aroma had some caramel and lighter fruits paired with pale malts, but the artificial sweeteners ran rampant.. not good, but non-offensive. The flavor had basically the same maltage with the same un-naturally sweet quality.. dry, grassy bitterness on the edges.. short, tacky, sweet finish. Light-bodied on the palate with substantial fizzy, sharp carbonation.. dry on the back and this fell off the finish very quickly.

24-Jun-08 (12-oz bottle: BevMo in La Jolla, CA) It’s really difficult to pick out the best of the three in the Brewers Collection, but the Blonde Ale isn’t bad for a Lite beer. It’s malty and grainy with a mild hop bitterness and flavor. There’s a little breadiness in the finish and sweetness is kept to a minimum. Light in body, pretty thin actually, but not quite watery. Malty and fairly grainy nose. Golden-amber in color and showing perfect clarity, but the off-white head pours small and fades fairly quickly. None of these Brewers Collection beers are all that good, but they could be a whole lot worse. This one is actually pushing into the drinkable range.

Light yellow color with faint white head. Light hops on the aroma but a grainy body with a faint metallic finish.
