I finally found it. A can of history. This is it, the original light (lite?) beer. I caught this whale in an ice bucket by the 10th tee box at the Glastonbury Hills Country club, sitting there by itself among royalty (the King of Beers) and some green canned foreign invader from Amsterdam. I cracked open the holy grail and was immediately hit with an aroma of skunk shit of biblical proportions. It must have eaten a bunch of saltines and corn. I took a sip and was overwhelmed with sugar, corn, and skunk flavor. The slogan Great Taste, Less Filling does not seem to be true at all. It was a bad taste, and filled me with the urge to vomit. I casually dumped the clear golden contents out onto the cart path as to not offend others, only to realize that I probably just poisoned a colony of poor ants that didn’t deserve that fate. I reserved my seat in hell, but at least I didn’t have to finish the beer.

can, flying the friendly skies from houston to munich. according to the label, a "pilsner style beer" although i would question whether any of those 3 words apply. very pale golden with a quick head; aroma of wet metal, no sign of the "saaz and pacific northwest hops claimed; fizzy, almost entirely devoid of flavour; put me to sleep

Bottle. Clear golden yellow beer with a small white head. Aroma is spicy with notes of hay, green apples, grains and metal. Flavor is spicy with notes of hay, grains, rice and grass. Well balanced.

Drank out of the bottle. Only a barely adequate taste. Very carbonated. Has a distinct aroma but not much flavor.

Lite yellow appearance with a white head. Typical American pilsner. Easy to drink on a hot summer day.

0,33l bottle @ Migration 2015 poster session. Pours very pale golden with a medium head. Aroma and flavor are weak grassy malts. Bad, but not quite undrinkable.

[Can (355ml)] I don’t remember who gave this to me, whoever you are, thanks? Pours a clear, bubbly pale straw-gold with a large diminishing fluffy white head. The head looks kind of weird as it dissolves. Mild sugary aroma along with grain, an odd vegetal note, light grassy notes and cardboard. Mild watery flavour of sweet grain, a hint of grassiness and then perhaps the shortest lightest finish I’ve experienced. Bland as hell. Nothing really foul in the flavour so there’s that at least. Light bodied. 96 calories is still too many calories for this.

I’ve got to respectfully disagree with this getting a zero. It has so little flavor and mouthfeel that it is not capable of being patently nasty. Aroma is a bit corny. It’s so clear that you can see to the bottom of the can. This under arching beer is good warm or ice cold and can be enjoyed in more simple way than other American light beers because it is somehow even closer to being water than they are.

Favorite off the big three, bud light tastes like corn, colors is fine and miller was my moms favorite so this is what I’ll drink at a Pirates game.
