At a tasting, many thanks! Smallish head, clear deepish yellow color, very light malty aroma with some cardboard, almost no flavor, hint of bitterness, not much different to water.

Palate marginally better than Coors Light. Other than that...not much going on, except a few less calories.

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle at the Grain Exchange (Slayton, MN). Of course I have tried this one before, however never rated it. Thank God for good company... This beer poured clear, yellow small white head. Aroma of grain. Taste metallic, grain quite sweet. It serves it’s purpose but certainly nothing special.

Pours a clear straw with minimal head. Smell is soggy cardboard, stale bread. Taste is sweet but muted - mildly bitter - no prominent characteristics - a bit of grassiness, cereal.

12 oz can. BB Nov/30/15. From a store at the hotel lobby, Honolulu, HI.
Clear yellow golden color with a small white head.
Mild dry grassy hops and earthy malty aroma.
The flavor is dry earthy maltiness. Boring.

0.8 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
Only slightly better than the 64 version. Some sweet grains but that is it no hops no bitterness very lean watery grainy stuff.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle to glass. How have I never ticked this?! Pours crystal clear, pale straw, one inch of white head that dies quickly. Nose is mostly neutral with a faint corn/rice note. Super clean. Taste is pretty much the same. Carbonation is a little aggressive to the point of being boring on the tongue, while the body is very thin.

I finally found it. A can of history. This is it, the original light (lite?) beer. I caught this whale in an ice bucket by the 10th tee box at the Glastonbury Hills Country club, sitting there by itself among royalty (the King of Beers) and some green canned foreign invader from Amsterdam.
I cracked open the holy grail and was immediately hit with an aroma of skunk shit of biblical proportions. It must have eaten a bunch of saltines and corn. I took a sip and was overwhelmed with sugar, corn, and skunk flavor. The slogan Great Taste, Less Filling does not seem to be true at all. It was a bad taste, and filled me with the urge to vomit. I casually dumped the clear golden contents out onto the cart path as to not offend others, only to realize that I probably just poisoned a colony of poor ants that didn’t deserve that fate. I reserved my seat in hell, but at least I didn’t have to finish the beer.

can, flying the friendly skies from houston to munich. according to the label, a "pilsner style beer" although i would question whether any of those 3 words apply. very pale golden with a quick head; aroma of wet metal, no sign of the "saaz and pacific northwest hops claimed; fizzy, almost entirely devoid of flavour; put me to sleep
