stretchfest (45), St. Louis, Missouri, USA Aug 26, 2007 Bottle. No discernable aroma, maybe a slight hint of corn. A very pale yellow with a small head that is gone before I started drinking. Tastes like metal, cardboard, and a very slight hint of cereal. Goes down like club soda. Finishes bitter in the bad way. Gets a two overall b/c it’s cheap and I’m an A-B guy, as far a macros are concerned. SHANER4 (370), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Aug 26, 2007 This is a mass produced lite lager that has alot of history and no real taste to back it up. It is better than all the other Miller beers, but that is not saying a whole lot. nipsy3 (11), Monessen, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 25, 2007 Out of all the american macro shit (bud/miller/coors), this is probably the best, BUT, it still tastes like shit. I’m fucked up right now on spaten optimator. I didn’t want to waste any more, because it’s pointless at this time, so, I dipped into my party leftovers to keep the buzz going (and sample for this rating). This really sucks. First off, I’m offended by the statement on the can that this is a "true pilsner." Smells like corn. Tastes like they don’t know what the fuck a hop is. The fizz is burning my palate. Fuck, this the first time I’ve sat down and thought about this and it’s making me sick. I’m not even going to bother rating any bud product. Commercials are really funny, though. And isn’t that what really counts these days? beerheart (237), Erie, Colorado, USA Aug 24, 2007 This beer drove me to wine coolers. "Carefuly crafted"? "Finest ingredients"? Beer doesn’t get much worse than this. Theis (3617), Denmark Aug 22, 2007 Bottle at home - shared with Mette & Jacob. Clear yellow - white head. Cardboard, citrus, bitter, milkey - and very little of everything !!! - Hold kæft hvor er den ulækker !!!! jrhammonds (28), Lincoln, Nebraska, USA Aug 21, 2007 Golden color, white head. Favor has straw, cereal, light malt. Nice carbonation.
No apologies--this beer is the best of the American macros. javathehop (14), Pennsylvania, USA Aug 20, 2007 Updated: Sep 9, 2007<<Miller Lite won the World Beer Cup’s gold medal for Best American-Style Light Lager in 1996, 1998, 2002, and most recently, in 2006. Lite also won the Great American Beer Festival’s silver medal in 2003 in the same category.>>
yes it’s not worthy of any awards but it did win, how can this win over the SAM Addams light? that sad I do drink this beer especially at parties or situations where I want to session beer, and I don’t want to kill my calorie consumption. I do think miller lite taste’s stronger than most other incredibly low calorie beer’s.
IE: pig’s eye lean, rolling rock green light, Michelob ultra. zappafan99 (462), Ascension Island Aug 20, 2007 Updated: May 28, 2008It seems someone hated the former rating...ahem..so here goes...you fill in what I should write...its your opinion that counts...isn’t that correct beachbum25?
