a light sweet choice that sits well with a BBQ meal with friends and family if the intent is to not fill up on beer

I can honestly say after years and years debating which is the best (or the worst depending on how you wanna look at it) of the Big American Macros, (Bud, Miller, Coors) I think this one is the least offensive. If there’s free beer being offered and in the cooler there’s a Coors light, Bud light, and Miller Lite, I’m grabbing the Miller...that’s all I have to say on this matter...

The number one seller (by the bottle) when I was bartending on sixth street in Austin Texas. Here, at least 50% of my customers were college kids - this was early 1990’s. You could do a lot worse on a hot night and a college budget. The bottles help with the heat by cooling your hand down. This beer it is what it is, consistently. At that time, this outsold Bud Light by at least two to one. End of night 30 empty cases of Miller Lite and 12 empty cases of Bud Light. Says here total score I will give this is 1.5 out of 5. But if it’s 90+ degrees at midnight, and you are on a low budget, this is a 4 out of 5

Bottle to pint on cruise in the Med. Pale yellow, thin white head. Mild malt aroma and taste. Not much going on here...

UPDATED: JUN 27, 2014 Big can at Sun Life Stadium. Surprisingly refreshing. No off flavours, easy and crisp. Nothing wrong here but it is not packing a lot of punch. If this was not Miler it would be getting decent votes.

Can poured into a glass. Pours a nice pale golden hay with a fluffy white head that eventually dissipates, but leave a bit of sheeting. Aroma is grass, corn, cereal, sugar. Taste is light and grassy, a bit of green apple, light bitterness. Lots of lingering green apple and bitterness.

Bottle. Pours very light, pale yellow with minuscule white head. Aroma is very large tush, wheat, slightly sweet. Taste is really...crappy. Touch of citrus hops, but mostly just crappy sweetness with...some kinda beer flavoring....it’s nasty.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Super light yellow color. Head dies almost instantly. Basic but pleasant aroma of malts. Taste actually has a small hop bite to it. Watery, light mouth feel. Overall this isn’t a bad beer. Certainly not deserving of all the hate.

This is my go to beer when I’m out partying and not looking to be a beer snob. Miller Lite is what I grew up on. I actually like the smell of it. No real tasting notes to say other than what you would already know. Just an easy drinking beer to have in the clubs.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
It has a very light straw yellow color with an extremely clear body. There is lively Champaign like carbonation that quickly makes its way up to the head. The head is bright white in color and fades out quickly. The aroma is faint. Only a very slight grainy malt. Its flavor is very light and clean. This is probably the cleanest beer that I have tasted. There is only a light, slightly sweet grainy malt with very mild grassy hops. The palate is light bodied, easy drinking with active carbonation and a very clean finish. Very basic.
