So you are mumbling ‘This can’t be the first time he’s tasted it?” No it is not….. I’ve had this countless times before I became an amateur ratebeerian. First, I wanted to get some experience with about 200 ‘good’ beers and really give this brew equal footing before I BMC step on it. So, this is neither a number padder nor a memory rate. This beer is being sampled as I review. It is from an 8 oz, pop lid can, how quaint. It says ‘true pilsner’ on it. The can is dented and has dust on it but it pops with the vigor of a new canister. Pours like any other good pale yellow beer I’ve poured in my former stooges and present steeler stein. In a couple of places there is some carbonation rising. Has an aroma surprisingly like many ‘quality’ brews, perhaps a little like a clean dishwater rag with hints of yeast. Nice tingle on the tongue. No bitterness what so ever but there is still a hint of hops in there. This may be considered clean because it lacks an overwhelming taste impact. This must be what the americans like. It’s easy to drink, bubbly and well behaved. Finish is crisp and there is absolutely no astringent linger. Tastes better than Hienie llight, Henninger and Yuengling lite. This beer is on par with Stella atois and Lionshead but is not quite as good as Carlsburg.

Not my favorite beer but definatly good when it comes to availability and price. I enjoy the taste more so than other lite American, mass-produced beers. When it comes down to that, Bud Light, Bud, MGD, or Coors which is what most sports bars around where I am from serve, I have to go with Miller Lite.

UPDATED: DEC 14, 2007 Bottle and Draft. Pours to a light golden yellow with a fluffy white head. Mild taste with little to no after taste and really no aroma.
Let’s get serious- this beer has its place: marathon drinking (BBQ, tailgating) or when you have a party as it appeals to the masses.

Well, everyone knows this beer. As far as Pilsners go it’s okay, I like it because its cheap, and where I come from that aint bad. I would cross a desert for it but I wouldn’t turn it down if offered.

A decent lite beer. Definetly better than Bud Light. Seems like your only choices in many places are miller lite or bud light so this one is the choice.

Not bad. I liked it a little better than a bud light but they taste very similar. Drank this out of the bottle.
