2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
From a growler from the brewery in millersburg oh. St Rt 39 stout is a opaque very dark brown liquid with a nice firm head of tiny tan bubbles. Nose is a touch of sweet malt and a bit of a milk stout scent. Roasted oats and dark coffee hints as well on further review. The taste is sharper and Dry. There is definite roasted malt and oats as the beer finishes. Body is just a smidge satiny. about an average stout. A bit disappointing taste based on the nose.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draft sample at the source. The beer is a clear brown with a beige head of foam. The aroma has mild roast and a subtle bit of ash as well. Medium sweetness and a little bitterness dries out the finish. Lighter to medium body. Low carbonation.
