a complex beer, but good. thebeertourist (1879), Oslo, Norway Jul 19, 2007 From bottle at the Hotton beer festival. Hazy deep orangey amber with a medium offwhite head. Smells of milk chocolate and spices. Milk chocolate blends with berries to create a novel taste sensation. Medium body. Highly enjoyable. JorisPPattyn (4499), Antwerpen, Belgium Dec 17, 2006 Draught Huge mangomeat-yellow, superdense & fine head over slightly hazy red-chestnut beer. Very shrubbery, earthy and just a little bit phenolic nose, caramelly and fruity. Very nice, full bodied, earthy, apricots, dark wood. Bit of smokiness. Some astringency, but well bodied. Nice beer, one to my liking. No exaggerate sweetness, but warming as a X-mas beer ought to be. goozen (763), Leiden, Netherlands Dec 23, 2006 Bottle 1,5 liters: A Dark brown , fruity, caramel beer, and very drinkable for that seize of bottle. oh6gdx (6332), Vaasa, Finland Dec 19, 2007 Bottled@Kerstbierfestival, Essen.Ambery brown colour with a mediumsized off-white head.
