quite dense ivory white head that disappears quickly with some lacing. straw-yellow orange colour. aroma of yeast, bit sweet, fruity and alcoholic. starts of a bit sweet followed by a spicy/pepper taste followed by a long bitter dry peppery aftertaste. warm mouthfeel, medium body and carbonation. bottle 33 cl / best before jan 2015

Faint aroma, pleasant nimbostratus head from bottle. Pours a hazy orange. Slightly sweet, with hints of cloves and lingering hops. Medium finish. Casually, very drinkable - but not one for the more adventurous taster.

ersma: naja, so richtig bella sieht die mutti ja icht aus...
orange-bernsteinfarben, leicht trübe. schaum könnte stabiler sein.
der geruch ist fruchtig, kräuterlig mit etwas hefe und malz.
der antrunk ist fruchtig, süßlich mit kräuternoten und leichter säuerlichkeit. beeren, zitrus. dezente hefe. die wird zur mitte deutlicher, ebenso die säuerlichkeit und fruchtigkeit. der abgang ist sehr fruchtig, zitrus und beeren, dazu säure und hefe sowie ein malziges fundament.
die flasche ist witzig.
fazit: wieder mal ein beweis dafür, dass die klassischen sorten heutzutage nict mehr bestand haben. einerseits ein blonde, andererseits aber mit deutlichen hopfenaromen. das ist spannend und probierenswert.

Pleasant nose. Pale fast disappearing head. Golden color. Slightly sweet malty and hoppy taste. Adding bottom sediment made the beer hazy. At the end hop bitterness.

Nice gold, persistent tight white head. Lovely dry peppery hop aroma, blond and crisp. Slicker body,than I expected - quite full. Grains quite wholemeal bready, hops resiny,piney. lots of esters. finosh perfumey, not quite soapy. dryish, but not as dry as the aroma indicated. Less flawed than their usual. Pretty OK classic belgian blond.

Bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus and Thompson. Slight gusher, enormous thick white head on top of a clear yellow to orange colored beer. Smell and taste malts, herbs or spices, some bitterness and light to moderately hops. Medium body and carbonation.

Very large foamy white head.. clear little haze yellow/golden colour.. smell herbs, taste hops little herbs and quite strong in throat although only 6,5%.. not bad but little to herbal for me..

Bottle @ benzai. Pours a huge white head with a little bit of celar golden yellow beer. Smells herbs and spices, malts, grains. Tastes malts, herbs, hops, grassy. Quite a nice taste. Medium body, full but nice carbo.
