3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Medium to bigger sized vast and pretty slow disappearing light brown nutty head on top of a dark brown to black colored beer with ruby tints.
Smell is pretty nice: some coffee, roasted wood, liquorice wood, roasted barleys, roasted grains, some hops, hint of gass and light hop soap notes.
Taste is also pretty nice, considering how tasty this is with such a low alcohol percentage: some light coffee and coffee toast, some good bitters, grass, roasted barley malts, some toasted barley and roasted wood notes, light dry, caramel, some light toffee notes, barley spices, even some hop tones. Hop and coffee/roasted malt bitters.
Aftertaste is grass, roast, light dry and bitter.
Low to medium carbo, soft creamy light dry mouthfeel, good medium body and a creamy texture.
Very nice beer!

Bottle. Black pour, huge rocky light tan head. Aroma is roasty, candi sugar, bready yeast and nuts. Flavor is quite sweet caramel, chocolate and yeasty. Somewhat spiced. A bit too Belgian, but I can’t say I didn’t know.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
33cl bottle. Dark brown with tanned medium head. Nose : tart, coffee with aromatic hops ; mostly citrus and pine. Sip : Medium body with creamy and fluffy texture. Well carbonated. Dry start, burned toast with coffee flavor mixed with strongly aromatic hops. The aftertaste is dry and bitter. I enjoy this one because it’s low alcohol and refreshing, it’s well hopped and it looks like and tastes like a decent stout. Another well done for this brewery.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Roasted malts, some hops and coffee with a good dry and spiced biterness that holds ok. Some chocolate that gets up together with the hops, not bad. Very dark brown, a decent head, that sticks good to the glass.

Medium to full palate, some slight sprankling. Finish is spicy, roasted and malty. Finish is light spicy and almost flat at the same time. Misses some depth but still pretty ok.

Bit cloudy dark purple brown beer, big creamy light beige head, pretty stable, adhesive. Aroma: caramel, mocha and coffee, dark chocolate, pretty herbal, hoppy. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very bitter hops, coffee, dark chocolates, more bitter hops, some caramel, touch of citrus. Aftertaste: dry bitter hops, coffee, some dark chocolate, very dry ending from the hops with more coffee. Totally not my thing.
