3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Ambrée trouble, pétillance moyenne. Texture huileuse. Bonne amertume, belle présence de malt et de houblon. Légèrement fruitée et un brin d’astringence sur la fin.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Blond amber beer that have a great foam head. The beer tasted from the bottle has a nice and smooth fruity taste with a slow bitter aftertaste. The alcohol is very well masked.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Malty full filled nose. Pale beige head. Pale golden color. Slightly sweet malty and bitterhops in the taste. Warming alcohol. Some syrup in the taste too. Adding sediment made the beer hazy. Sweetness at end.

330ml bottle (Hilpea Hauki, Helsinki, Kalakierros 2013)
Some swimming pool wateriness, and raw rotten mashy graininess. messy taste, but covers the alc quite well. full of esters. With a nice big glug, a full, resiny character comes out, and there’s a long-lasting resiny hoppy finish - actually pretty nice. But you’d finish the bottle in 4 glugs that way.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
(Bottle, 0.33 l - BBE July 2014, at Hilpeä Hauki, 20130403) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, molasses, Belgian style yeast and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, grass, malts, honey, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity, malty and bitter. A maltier tripel with quite internse hoppiness. Not my favourite.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
33 cl. bottle @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Very hazy amber, orange with a big creamy white head. Smell is very sweet peel oils, spices, herbal tea, camomile, bark, bitter, real non-soft drink ice tea, unusual, interesting. Taste is sweet spices, herbal tea, sweet bark, orange peel oils, zest, camomile, turmeric, bitter herbs in the back, underlying layer of sweet caramel, toffee and herbal tea, potent bitter finish. Thicker zesty body. Very unusual and almost too much to take in but very commendable.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Delirium Hoppy Loft, courtesy of 77ships (thanks!). Poured a murky golden head, solid foam. Fruity, malty apricot jam nose... whoa, nice! The taste.... Lemony notes from the hop, herbal and fresh, nice malty backbone, fine bitter finish. Though my notes are vague, I was certain about one thing. This is damn great! 3.38 for this one is a disgrace... I don’t remember when I liked a trippel as much on the first go as I did this one.

Hazy orangey golden colour with a small creamy white head.
The aroma is cookies, malt, grain, mild hops, mild fruits and dryness.
The flavour is fruits, hops, bitterness, malt, liquorice, horse radish, grass, malt and grain. Grassy bitterness in the aftertaste. Smooth. Tasty.

330 ml bottle @ Delirium Hoppy Loft, Brussels. Rated on 1.3.2013.
Pours a hazy orange colour with a white head. Aroma of apricot, grass and caramel. Flavour of sweet caramel, grains, caramel and some subtle sourness. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and a soft, malty, slightly bitter finish. A bit boring.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle 33 cl. Pours hazy golden in color with a foamy whitish head. Grassy hops, citrus in aroma. More citrus and light peppery spicyness in taste. Grassy bitterness with hints of yeast in aftertaste. Nice, straightforward going and very well balanced tripel. Highly drinkable and great tasting, wish more tripels were like this one, actually this feels more like a belgian IPA this one. Fruity citrus and grassy bitter finish.
