Clear amber body with a creamy off-white head. Malty aroma of caramel and bit alcohol: rather subtle but nice. Heavily bitter, moderately sweet flavour. Very nice, warming, complex, well balanced. Fully bodied. Very pleasant and dangerously drinkable beer.

Bottle at home. Pours bronze in colour with a thin head. Slight aroma of yeast, malt and some earthy hop. Taste of sweet juicy malt and then a good balance of bitterness. Complex palate: slightly syrupy, fruity, rich and smooth and the alcohol strength is evident. Long, dry finish.

Pours an amber copperish color. Nose is of interesting christmas like spices, and nectarines, bready. Taste is sweet, oily and medium mouthfeel, gentle bitterness fading quickly, citrus notes. Not the usual sweet bitter belgian tripel. Gravitates more toward a good IPA.

33 cl bottle @ Gastropub Kaleva.
Pours clear dark golden color with a small head, lots of yeast sediment in the bottle. Sweet toffee and caramel on the nose, lots of honey, spice notes, yeast and some malts. Sweet honey and toffee dominate the flavor with a mild spicy kick and a yeasty finish. Alcohol moderately well hidden. Decent, though a bit too sweet Abbey Tripel.

Drank at home with Patrick 17-3-2014. Good blond beer. Fine taste, nothing really jumps out but it is pleasant to drink.

33cl Bottle Appearance: gold, with a beige foaming head. leaving some lacing. Aroma: grassy and light citrus hop, peppery yeast and caramel. Taste: More caramel malts as the arom, oerpowering the hops, some peppery yeast tones. Just when it seems that in the last minute the hops become recognizable again, theyt are once more trampled, this times by the alcohol. Medium body, average carbonation. Not bad, but it’s a bit rough with some tastes overpowering the subtile tones
