Hazy golden color with fine head. Bitter medical flavor the saffron gives a somewhat smoked taste and aroma.

330ml Bottle - Golden with a small head. Saffron, lemon, hops and yeast in the aroma. Rather interesting taste with saffron standing out along with notes of honey, yeast and hops.

Bottle from Malting Pot, Brussels
Hazy light amber color with generous head. Very nice aroma of saffron, powerful. Good ale, with mild saffron flavor, solid Belgian brew with the required moderate sweetness for this spice.
The saffron is more evident in the aroma, and overall this is a good beer.

Bottled, thanks fiulijn! Hazy amber, mid sized head. Big time saffron aroma. Sweet and fruity with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Low bitterness. Saffron lingers in the finish.

UPDATED: APR 28, 2013 Bottle @ ZBF ’12 Re-Rate @ZBF 2013 Evident saffron aroma, like rice pudding. Gold colour with light yellow lasting head. Not lacing, no sparkling. Tastes like it smells, rice pudding, sweet, some non-harassing bitterness, something burned like the top of a creme-brulée. I like it but it is kinda monotone. The saffron lasts in the aftertaste.

Definitely a saffron aroma. The bitterness of the hops masques some of the saffron flavour.

Gedronken met André (dutchdrebus) en René (benzai), oranja kleur, niet helder maar troebel. Ruikt vies, vingerverf. Ruikt zoals hij smaakt.

Bottle thx to benzai. Hazy yellow to orange with a decent sized white head. Smells like plants, fingerpaint, clay. Tastes like perfume, plants, paint, chemical and a ’new product’ fresh out of the store. Okay carbo, medium body.

33cl bottle shared with Dutchdrebus and Ansjelaah. Hazy light orange color, medium sized dense white head. Smell paint and herbs or spices. Taste malts, herbs, leather, lightly yeast, weird and not nice though it’s better than the smell. Ok carbo and body.
