33cl Bottle @ home. Amber coloured beer with medium carbonationa and a large but diminishing white head. Very special floral fruity metallic hinted aroma. Typical safran hints comming back. Medium to full light creamy palate. FInish is sweet floral herby again slightly metallic with a longer safran like slightly unpleasant lingering. Decent try but I don’t think safran and beer are made for each other.

Bottle. Golden, hazy, average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate, malty and sugary sweetish aroma, some caramel, and some vegetable spiciness (safron? - pepper). Body is medium, malty and sweetish flavor, some caramel and some vegetable spiciness. Finish is average, malty and sweetish, light caramel, some spiciness and light alcohol. Sweetish strong ale with vegetables - not very enjoyable.

33cl bottle. Well filtered, light amber with medium white head. Nose : strong tart and alcohol, strong safran. Notes of wood and smoked meat. Sip : medium carbonation, low to medium body with oily texture. Sweet taste with really strong attack of safran spice. It’s a safran bomb. End is quite earthy and bitter. Aftertaste is safran, nail polisher. Really undrinkable. Wow !

Beer with the spice safran is not a match. Nice appearance though, yellow with a white, lasting head. Odd aroma and flavor, astringent and like earwax. Lively carbonation.

(Bottled) Opaque orange with a medium, firm and lacy head. Very strong stingy-sweaty-metallic, chlorine-flowery, grassy nose (i.e. nothing but saffron). Flavor is also strongly dominated by the same elements, with some stingy alcohol hints and huge grassy-saffrony bitterness. Also a bit meaty. Medium body, foamy CO2, slightly astringent. You need to be a real hardcore saffron fan (or a hophead) to enjoy this. 3735
