This one was not such a hit at our tasting. Bottle from exiled I believe. Clouded orange color with a bubbly white head. Aroma is a bit of sourness, lemon, and grass. Flavor is barnyard and grains. Tart flavor, with a fruity finish.

Birra interessante, con uno speziato evidente che ricorda più la cannella che il pepe. Piacevole.

Bouteille 33 cl de chez Mi-Orge Mi-Houblon à Arlon (B). Bière dorée, calme en mousse et en pétillement. Arômes maltés et poivrés. La bouche est assez ronde, très poivrée. On a presqu’envie d’éternuer. Un peu aqueuse mais fruitée, relevée de gingembre, citronnelle et très poivrée surtout jusqu’en finale. Manque d’équilibre et d’harmonie. Originale sans autre.

Bottled. The aroma has some light malts, little fruit/citrus and most of all ginger. Clear, light yellow coloured beer with a white head. The taste is sweet, has a lot of ginger, some pepper, sirup and some more malt in the background. Too much ginger.

Unique! It’s unclear blonde/amber with a nose of pepper and coriander, even if it turns out that there’s no coriander in the ingredients. The pepper (pepper as in white/black peppers, not chilis) makes it stand out from the crowd, giving it a pronounced taste yet not too spicy either so it remains very enjoyable. I’d love to try this again accompanied with the right meal. It’s got a strong taste though so whichever beer you choose next better be full-bodied...

Light gold color with nice white head. Spicey, Indian food aroma. Tastes like a light triple with a pepper finish nicely unobtrusive for a pepper beer.

Pours a medium amber. Big aromas of ginger/nutmeg/coriander. Ginger/sweet flavor was too strong for me, I had force myself to finish the bottle.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity spicy ginger and pepper aroma. Dry malty warming spicy pepper flavor. Has a warming spicy slightly burning pepper finish.

Draugt @ Zythos 2009. A hazy yellow colored beer, with a thick white head. The aroma is very spicey, some malts and hops. The taste is spicey, a lots of peppers, cinnamon and aniseed. Hoppy bitter, notes of fruit. The aftertaste is peppery.
