Pensez-y !

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has strong notes of spices - pepper, lemongrass, and others, as well as juniper berries. The flavor is sweet with notes of spices - pepper and more, lemons, hay, and wheat, leading to a dry spicy finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy golden with an off-white head. Odd celery aroma, tart. Peppery? - not so much. Medium body, a tart fruitiness, spicy alright - almost perfumy. The tartness however is somewhat off-putting. 200612

Bottle from Malting Pot, Bruxelles
Cloudy amber color with small frothy head. The aroma is herbal: sage and mint. Weak body, with a soapy spicy and herbal flavor, lightly piquant in the end. Average bitterness.
Not unpleasant; but the spices should belong to the cooking world, not the beer one.
