Bottle: Poured a rusty orange with a off white color head. Aroma was fruit with citrus attributes. Taste is rich malt and fruit, dry to the tongue but zesty at the same time.

Cloudy brown beer, frothy white head that dies away quickly. Sour creamy malt with a strong sherbet note. Dry finish. Refreshingly sharp - not wincingly so.

Darker blond coloured beer, light hazy hinted with some very light carbonation and a small white head. Very special aroma, herby, fruity palate. Light madeira alcholic sweet hinted. Malty and alcoholic. Full, light sprankling palate. Finish is fruity, light sour bitter fruity and malty with a longer dry bitter ending. Very well-balanced beer.

Light golden orange coloured body with a thin and very subtle whiat head - nice. Aroma of potent alcohol, yeast, wheat, corn and a bit of sugar. Medium-bodied; Interesting first taste, coupled with the aroma - strong malt, a lot of yeast, wheat and a bit of the freshness you’d expect from a tripel - coriander seed and light curacao. Aftertaste shows almost a slight show of a geuze or a flemish sour, but then immediately closes up back into a belgie ale. Overall, a very complex and interesting beer and probably not one similar that i’ve ever sampled in the world. DEFINITELY worth a drink if you can find this! I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from Beer Mania in Bruxelles, Belgium on 17-November-2008, sampled on this side of the pond on the Eastern Shore of Virginia on 02-May-2009.

(33cl bottle) Hazy, orange colour with a short and slightly of-white foamy head. Sweet and moderately acidic lemon-fruity and zesty aroma with a light flowery touch and mild notes of spices. Sourish flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Limey, fruit-accented (peach) taste with shy spicy yeasty accents and a light hops character; finishes sourish and slightly tart. I´m asking myself if the sourness is intended (01.IV.09).
