Toujours intrigué par l’usage de malt fumé et piment. Ici, une bière qui plaira ou déplaira, en ce qui me concerne, une très bonne découverte.
Couleur orangée présentant un léger trouble, col épais allant sur le blanc-cassé/ocre;
Arôme est agrémenter d’un nez épicé venant du Szechuan qui à tendance à donner une touche fruitée citronné. Cela est en mariage avec le malt fumé, mais aussi légèrement caramel et biscuité.
En bouche, une bière qui reste raisonnable dans sa teneur en piment qui reste présent sans pour cela en faire une bière trop épicée. Le tout se mélange parfaitement avec le malt fumé. Ci et là, le malt prend le dessus pour en arrière-bouche avoir un retour du piment; Une légère amertume se fait ressentir de houblon, avec un léger fruit citronné avec une touche orangée. L’usage du chipotle me rappelle les nombreux bbq aux US faisant usage de ce piment souvent fumé, cela va très bien avec le malt en usage ici.

Bottle at Luxembourg festival in Brussels. Bold brown body with thick head. Spicy and chili noste. Taste very sharp and spicey. Some ginger in there. Smooth texture. I love chilis but not in my beer...

(33cl bottle) Pours a hazy golden body with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, smoke, sulfur, and yeast. Flavor of yeast, burnt grain, light chilies, and smoke.

Hazy amber, no foum. Plantain, tincture and fernet in nose. Light body, some carbon, acid and bitterness. Metal, hospital, jodium and again metal - like old tubes from a bathroom on palate. Fernet Branca and sanitary aftertaste. B@H

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy orange to murky with a small white head. Aroma is vegetable and light fruity. Mild smoked like flavoured. Cooked vegetables and mild chili bite. Light bitter and subdued sweetness. Sweet, toasted, light chili and mild smoked finish.

Bottle courtesy bu11zeye. Pours a cloudy orange color with a very light white ring of head. Aroma is smoky malts with a fair bit of peat and spicy notes. Peppery spice. Flavor is smoky, spicy and peppery that tingles and provides quite a spice kick.

RBESG 2010, bottle at Johnny’s Off License, Rome Hazy amber color, creamy head. Malt aroma, with light infection, and smell of rancid pork meat. Mild malt flavor, chili, flowers, vegetables, and possibly light infection. Low bitterness the chili veil in the end is delicate. Useless. And if i think that I even paid for this beer...

Geruchlich erinnert das Bier eher an einen Gemüseauflauf. Wenig scharfer Antrunk, bereits hier kommt die Chili zur Geltung. Wenig hefig-würzig, etwas schlammig. Die Aromen scheinen etwas verschwommen und können sich später hinter der stärker werdenden Chilinote verstecken. Interessant! /8/9/9/fl/9

Cloudy amber to murky beige coloured beer. Yellow to beige head, very aery, disappears very fast and nothing is left. Aroma: very dirty, chemical (ether), ointment or some kind of lotion, floral and a bit of chili. MF: ok carbon, medium body, very prickling feeling on the tongue. Taste: hot spices, chemical, insect repellent. Aftertaste: chili, hot spices, very one-dimensional and just plain yucky. Divided by 3 persons, but nobody finishes his glass. This could very well be the most foul beer I ever had. I give an overall of 3, for having the balls to put this in a bottle...

Bottle at Schiphol: Aroma: Phenolic, a bit smoke, spicy, licorice, sourish, alcohol, smells nice. A bit hazy, ok head. Quite hot in mouth, a bit umami. Astringent, woody. Too much CO2 (gusher), should have been more chili.
