Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, soap, banana. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Mar 8, 2008 ZBF2008: From tap. Pours hazy yellow and orange with a white lacing head. Light spelt/wheaty aroma, subdued spice note. Flavour is spelt/wheat with a light spice note. Dry to medium sweet. Lingering spelt and spice flavoured.

Mar 6, 2008 ZBF 2008: Cloudy yellow with a flimsy white head. Strong spicy bubblegum, clove, and yeast aroma. A bit chemically. Also smells like it is still fermenting. A bit thick in the mouth. Mellower than the aroma. There is some sort of green astringency in the back. Feels heavier and stronger than the 4.5% ABV on the label.
