Courtesy of Fonefan. It’s copper-red with some sediment and a small, creamy head. The aroma has sweetness and notes of yeast, some spice, malt, caramel and fruit. The flavour has sweetness and a light sourness, notes of spices, yeast, malt, caramel and citrus. I would have liked it to have a fuller body.

Bottle: Poured a brown with a beige thick lacing head. The aroma is fruit with sweet malt. Taste is a burnt malt with a nice tingly alcohol burn.

ZBF2008: From 33 cL bottle, slight changed recipe according to the brewer and 9% alcohol volume. Pours clear and golden brown with a white head. Aroma is solid caramel malt, light fruity with a mild citric note. Flavour is caramel malt, light fruity and with a minor spice edge. Lingering fruity and mild caramel malt. Lovely.

Tap, at ZBF 2006. Hazy amber, good off white head and good condition. Gentle maltiness apparent in the nose, soft and sweet in the mouth with hints of toffeesome background yeastiness, gentle sweet toffee notes lingering in the finish.
