Bottled. Bright yellow, brief fizzy head. Dry and rounded with some grassy hops. Harsh and unrefined with an unbalanced resiny finish. This smells cheaply made German supermarket beer a long way.

Yellow colour, ok head. Sweet aroma with a hint of toffee. Brief malty flavour with notes of honey. Grassy bitterness. Boring lager.

UPDATED: JUN 28, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Fully golden with a slight haze, decent head. Has a somewhat "homebrewed" touch though I’m not really able to define this further. 040603

Colour is clear, bright yellow, the white foam builds a firm head (I could even observe a trace of a crater) that’s slowly descends to a thin, rugged lid. The smell is unexpectedly strong: The dominating note comes from sourish hops, but there are also hints of sweetness, some wet leather, rye bread and maybe even a touch of smoked ham. The carbonation is at first a little sticky, then well balanced with the bitterness, making this beer a refreshing and somewhat bracing experience. The smell is at first quite mild, but soon a grapefruit-like bitter tone emerges followed by an almost lactose-like sweetness. Then, the tastes blends into a pleasant blend of sweetness and bitterness that taste... "Swedish Lager Beer". An almost chemical touch of sweet malts develops into a bread-like flavour with some bitterness. The long lasting aftertaste makes the tongue look for bitterness in the whole mouth cavity. I think that this is a worthy example of its style, with a little extra twist. This beer is (at least in September of 2004) only sold at the Systembolaget in the rural village of Ödeshög, Sweden, and maybe some restaurants.

Pale yellow, small dissapearing bubbly head. Unclean malty and metallic aroma. Horrible flavour...thin, metallic and unclean. Lot’s of iron in finish.

Light yellow with a very thin head. Has a weak marlt aroma that brings some dough. Flavor is about nothing until some bitterness shows up in the finish and stays for a while. Really thin.

Yellow with firm white head. Malty aroma with sulfur tones. A bit herbal. Malty flavor with tones of biscuits. A bit metallic with normal bitterness. Nothing to write home about but still a contribution to a better beer world.
