Bottle from Systembolaget in Vadstena. It poured a watery yellow liquid with a minimal white head. Sweet malty smell and taste. Some metall notes. Light bitterness that just bounces on my tongue before escaping down my throat. Not my kind of beer at all.

Beige.

Veldig lys gylden. Litt uklar. OK skum som detter fort. Maltpreget aroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smak av gress & høy. Litt søt. Forsiktig bitter ettersmak. Sikkert et godt øl til mat eller som tørsteslukker på en varm dag.

500ml bottle from Systembolaget in Linköping. Light straw coloured body. Thin, but lasting white head. Grainy malts to the nose. Pale malty flavour with hints of bread and bittersweet fruits towards the finish. Medium bodied. Drinks quite well for a style like this (shared with Finn, Tromsø 24.01.2011).

Ljunkan (521) - Drammen, NORWAY - JUL 26, 2009
Bottle, thanks to Fredrik (and his father who found this somewhere). Pours a clear golden color with a nice big white foamy head. Aroma is lightly of grass/hay and newly baked white bread. Flavour is clean with some light notes of grassy german hops and white bread. Light bitter finish. Light to mediumbodied, medium strong carbonation (small bubbles). A refreshing beer, but it’s quite boring.
