I found this a little thin and vinagery. Just about drinkable, but certainly not one I would bother to have again, if there was anything decent on offer.

A Sim rate (cask at Kent BF): Bizarre flavour of malt mixed with grenadine. Smells of malt and caramel. Graham cracker biscuit finish.

Cask gravity at Kent BF 2006. Strawberry malt aroma. Fullish in mouth, bit of hop tingle on end. Maybe not the greatest beer, but fine.

Cask@Dartford BF. OK, but pretty uncomplicated, easy going i suppose, lightly nutty and sweetish, failry light overall.

Beer #51 at Dartford Beer Festival, with Duff. Amazingly, I can still read my notes. Not that they are too expansive - "Red colour. OK, but dull". Cask (gravity dispense).

UPDATED: OCT 5, 2005 March, 2004: Tudor Rose, Upnor. A darkish red like Cranberry juice. A satisfying medium to full body with a neutral palate. Finishes slightly more bitter and bit drier than it starts, but not much of a journey. Slightly sour with a nutty quality. The fruit flavour is elusive - a cross between apricot and pomegranate. Woody notes, especially in aroma. Decent enough ale. [3.0]
April, 2004. Three Daws, Gravesend. Had this on two separate occasions recently at this pub. The second it was like vinegar. Bad bad bad. The first it was soft and fruity with some red berry flavours mostly strawberry. Pleasant. We all enjoyed that one. [3.3]
