Cask (gravity dispense) at the Pigs Ear Beer Festival, London on 6 December 2006. Dark chestnut / ruby colour. No head and very little condition. Strong chocolate notes in the aroma. Slightly sweet on the palate with more dark cocoa. Rather light mouthfeel. Tasty enough but probably would have been rather better had it the condition been more lively.

Cask@Pigs ear BF 06. Chocolatey, and slightly ashy porter. Probably a little sweet to start, but finish some nice roastyness which dries it out a touch. Pleasant.

Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Pigs Ear BF. Dark ruby, no head. Choccy aroma, very choccy in mouth, bit of intense dark choc. Very good indeed.
