Cask (gravity dispense) at the Pigs Ear Beer Festival, London on 6 December 2006. Deep ruby colour. A little bit of roast malt and a powdering of dry cocoa. Rather light body. Not bad but more like a mild than a stout.

Cask@Pigs Ear BF 06. Sweeter than the porter, and on the thin side for a stout. Decent flavours of chcolate and roasted malt. Nice, but as i said perhaps a little bit on the thin side.

Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Pigs Ear BF. Black, no head. Choccy. More like a mild than a stout. Choc is lovely though, like licking....something, my notes fail to tell me what. Easy drinking.
