1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
All of the brews that I’ve had at this place are watery. This one is called a brown ale, which it is, but is described on the brewpub menu as a "medium bodied, sweet light amber ale." I.e., these folks are confused about beer. This one is a light brown, well carbonated concoction with an off-white head that nicely laces the Pilsener glass that it was served in. Not much aroma, some sweet, lightly roasted malts. The flavor is mostly suburban water with a bit of roasted malt flavoring. No hops that I could tell. The finish is wet.
