Clear bronze in color with a thin off-white head and some nice lacing. Hoppy aroma, complimented with caramel, pine and carnations, leading me to believe that this cat’s going to be sweet and balanced. Taste is in line with the style, yet watery and insignificant. Some caramel malts sweetness encasing an expected mixed bag of nuts flavor in the distance. Mild hop bitterness. Definitely not a show stopper.

Draft at Millrose Restaurant, South Barrington, IL. Small white head with good retention, transparent copper body, no carbonation noted, and one ring of lacing. The aroma was malty, sweet and lightly hoppy. Ditto for the flavor. The mouthfeel was smooth and this is a light bodied beer. Drinkable, but not outstanding.

Dark amber color with a modest off-white head. Pale malt and light fruit scents. Flavors match the aromas. Likely the best of the ones I’ve tried from here.

Pour is faint yellowish amber with a thin white head...smell is lightly grainy and sweet....taste is also grainy and sweet with a faint faint citric bitterness....

Coppery red color with a moderately-sized fluffy white head. Malty sweet aroma, slightly berryish, with a mildly hoppy flavor and dry rye/wheatfinish.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a transparent softly carbonated copper colored body. The mild aroma was brown malt and malt hop. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The thin flavor contained notes of hops brown malt and mild astringency. Not one that I would likely buy again.

Draught: Faint aroma of Marsalla wine. Poured golden in color with a small white head that diminished. No lacing. Clear. Sparkling. Malty flavor. Not well balanced malt and hops. Light body. Thin texture. Soft carbonation. Sweet malt finish. Poor brew.

Draft sampler at Millrose. Good, lightly "ambered" malt smell. Some Vienna malt flavor, but very mild in hops. Merely average.

On tap at the brewry. More mild than I expected, with a light coppery color, medium head, and hints of hops on the nose that were not powerful enough in the beer. Drinkable, and refreshing, but not a favorite.

Had this on draught in South Barrington, Illinois. Copper color with a thick white head that dissipated slowly, nose of barley and roses with a taste balanced by just the right amount of hops for me. This was good.

Served as a copper/amber with a holding, off-white head that left a solid sheet of creamy lace. Hopcit aroma comes across light & flowery with citrus over mild malts. Delicate and intriguing. Flavor falls from hoppy-goodness to butterscotch and sweetened iced tea. For an ale this seemed lagered. Creamy mouthfeel. This was a strange, enjoyable beer, and my favorite of the day.
