Almost caramel-colored with golden highlights, topped with a ring and small island of film. Raspberry syrup aroma was unnatural. This doesn’t show any wheat basis in the flavor... just a syrupy, overdone fruitiness with mild vinegar notes. Slightly cloying. This is fruit-beer typicality with no saving graces. .

UPDATED: AUG 11, 2005 Golden with lazy carbonation and a lofty white head, this brew begins with a fresh, clean raspberry aroma. The taste, tho’, is oddly bitter and it finishes on an orange rind note. Not much of an American wheat.
