Cask. Slightly hazy mid-gold ale with a thick white top. Smells a bit like playdough. Salty and apples. Taste is apples and peaches and a saltiness too. A little odd.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: NOV 12, 2011 Cask at GBBF 2011. Looks like a pale golden bitter but strong hoppy aromas promise a more serious beer! Weighty and slightly oily on the palate, with serious hops offering a mix of underlying fruity sweetness fading into a long drier citrus hoppy finish. One of the best English IPAs I’ve had, managing strong flavours without needing ridiculous levels of alcohol.
