3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
A bit disappointing for a stout. I don’t find any pumpkin in the aroma, but there’s lots of chocolate and nuttiness. A bit thin on the palate. Just ok.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A- Candy corn, caramel, marshmallow, cocoa.
A- Dark brown color, dark liquid, light brown head.
T- Marshmallow, cocoa, caramel, slightly sweet.
P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, smooth finish.
O- What an odd beer. I figured it would be loaded with pumpkin pie spice and have a dry malty base. Nope. Smells like liquid marshmallow peeps and candy corn. A legit Halloween beer. Some caramel too. Tastes about like it smells. Odd, but really good actually.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 oz bottle from Hy-Vee Wine & Spirits - Muscatine. Deep, dark brown appearance with a small, lingering, light brown head. Aroma of candy corn, vanilla, chocolate, caramel, nutmeg, marshmallow, light fruity esters and light toffee. Similar flavor, medium plus artificial sweetness with moderate spices and a touch of bitterness. Medium body with a kind of thin feel and soft carbonation. Not awful, but kind of weird overall. This should probably be listed under the Spice/Herb/Vegetable style.

3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap; pours nearly black with a thin tan head; aroma of pumpkin pie spices and chocolate; taste is sweet with chocolate and a hint of pumpkin; finish is pumpkin pie spice and a bit overwhelming; the beer was decent enough until the overwhelming spice finish, which kind of wrecked it

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle thanks to randompepsigarbage. Poured a deep dark black body with an average sized long lasting frothy deep beige head. Aroma is toasty, burnt toast, veggies, black olives, soy sauce, tobacco. Nice body, medium-full with average carbonation and a milky creamy feel overall that finishes with some bitter roastiness. Flavor is a bit better than the aroma, notes of charcoal, cacao powder, veggies, squash, some spice possibly nutmeg. Interesting.
