Bottle @ Danís house, courtesy of pepsiedcan. Deep brown appearance with a small tan head. Spicy, candy corn, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg aroma. A bit fruity, a bit veggie, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla bean, caramel flavor. Not bad but definitely nothing special.

12 ounce bottle courtesy of pepsican and shared at the 19th Richmond Ratebeer Gathering. Pours a clear dark red color with lots of tiny black floating particles. Aroma of pumpkin, chocolate, mild roasted notes, mild nuttiness. The taste is nuttiness, pumpkin, caramel, chocolate, vanilla. Medium bodied, astringent. Meg.

12oz bottle. Poured cola brown with a short cap of tan head. The aroma picked up lots of semi-sweet chocolate and vanilla, with lesser pumpkin meat present.. some nutmeg and cloves joined in.. as it warmed up, vanilla really took over. The flavor was along the same lines.. vanilla dominated, with chocolate, molasses, and maple sugars all fighting for attention.. pumpkin meat shows toward the back.. dry nutmeg, cloves, and cinnamon come on strong right at the finish. Medium-plus bodied with low-ish carbonation on the palate.. OK flow.. overall this was too sweet, with too much vanilla and too much going on in general. That said, I want to see every solid brewer out there do a pumpkin imperial stout.. I LOVE the concept!

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2013 Tap at Muddy Waters. Dark brown pour with a light tan head. This smells and tastes artificial - some spice and pumpkin, but artificially sweet. Pretty weak effort.

Pour out of 12 oz bottle, dark reddish brown with white head, aroma has vanilla, dark chocolate oak, dinner Ted fruits, spice. Taste is sweet vanilla, trashy earth and spice notes. Sweet and slightly dry. Eh.

Bottle:   Nearly black, thin tannish sudsy head, little lacing.   Odd spicy sweet potato and roasted malt nose.   Spicy start, but more of a spiced candle than anything.   Sweet too.   When I read the description I see it was brewed with artificial flavor.   Nail on the head, artificial, as thats how it tastes.   Has a weird fancy vanilla candle aspect.   Yeah, autumn spiced candle with vanilla.   Some overly sweet mocha like notes on the finish.   This was tough...

Keg @ Devils Advocate. Medium brown with a sma head. Nose is banana bread pudding. Vanilla and brown sugar. Artificial seasonings. Flavor of raisins and batman bread . Sort of. Sweet hot mess. Nuts and pineapple. Full body, weird.

12oz bottle. Well this is a unique one. Syrupy, oily chocolate syrup and a candy pumpkin sugariness. Remember those orange pumpkin candies? This tastes like they dumped those in the boil. Sweet and not really that refined of a venture, like a sub par Southern Tier offering. Too imperial.

Bottled. Black and it starts with a nice head. Low carbonation. Lightly roast flavor and some vegetable character. Grain and some alcohol. It isnít very good, thin palate. "Stout brewed with artificial flavor?" I canít believe that is the best they could do.

Black color with a medium head. Dark fruit and a tannic aroma. Roasty flavor. Slightly acrid. A bit tart and dry. Could have been the start of an infection.
