3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
I think this beer is called Millstream Heferweizen now, they changed it and there is a cow on the label. If that is not true, then I dreamed up a sweet name and label.

12 oz bottle as Millstream Hefe "R" Weissen. J. From Iowa. A big thank you to John M.
Hazy orange golden colour with a small white head.
Wheat, yeast, yoghurt sourness, banana and toffee sweetness in the aroma. Nice. The flavour is very refreshing. Thereís quite a lot Witbier notes... Spices, yeast, mild sourness, wheat and some sweetness in the flavour. Good and tasty. Iím surprised.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a cloudy yellow gold with a thin white head. Nose is yeast and fruit. Very creamy on the palate. Taste is mild with a wheat backbone, accompanied by a little yeasty bread, some apricot and banana accents. Hops are very light. A nice summer sipping beer best accompanied by light cheeses or nuts.

2.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from Johnís grocery. Pours cloudy yellow with a thin white head. Big banana on the nose. Very ripe. Not a lot going on the tongue. Slight banana note at most. Finishes clean. Eh!

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle in Iowa City. Thanks to adnielsen for sharing. Pours a cloudy golden orange color with white head. Bubblegum, soapy, clove, orange dishwater detergent aromas. Bubblegum, clove, yeasty flavors. There are some things I like about this beer, but there is a little bit of a weird bubblegum/soapy flavor that Iím not a big fan of.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle @ Holiday Inn Iowa City picked up @ Johnís Grocery. Pours a somewhat cloudy yellow orange appearance with a thin white head. Big vanilla, bubblegum, very sweet fruity aroma. Fairly soft mouth feel. Starts out with the fruitiness that was observed in the nose but finishes better with some softer vanilla, banana notes. Not my favorite Hefeweizen but not bad by any stretch of the imagination.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from bottle. Older so this review could be inaccurate. Clear golden orangish pour. Peach and apricot taste. Slight bitterness. Not bad

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle... Cloudy, deeply golden ale with no head. The aromatics are fruity, spicy and yeasty Ė pear, black, overripe banana, clove and white bread. Medium-bodied with laid-back carbonation. The flavor is fruity, spicy, and leans a tad toward the sweet side of balance. Crisp, pear, banana and clove finish. I generally dislike hefeweizens and Duke basketball. Bottle provided by growler!

1.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Twin Cities Beer Festival. A very light hefeweizen with very little flavor or aroma. I can pick up the wheat, but bubblegum, clove, banana, or wheat sweetness are all missing. Virtually flavorless.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Cloudy, deep gold body with orange highlights. Fizzy white head that quickly disappears to nothing. Aroma of clove, banana, toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes moderately sweet, lightly bitter and lightly tart. Medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. Taste of wheat, clove and bubble gum that is unfortunately overshadowed by a solvent taste that lingers into the finish. The off-flavor is not overly strong, but itís enough to be a distraction. In addition, this hefe is overly sweet.
