Pale Ale's on the coasts of this country are turning into hoppy monsters, but our beer is more mild, and about balance. It has enough bitterness to match the maltiness provided by the pale malt base. It gets its citrus zing from extensive dry-hopping with Cascade hops. This beer was first made in a few small test batches in 2003. The response was so incredibly positive, that it has worked it’s way into a year round beer. A hoppy IPA in the central plains... how exciting!

12oz bottle from Pizz5116. Pours a clear amber color with a small foamy beige head. Aroma of caramel malt, lemons, and herbal hops. Taste of caramel, lemon zest, pine, and yeast. Meh

Beer of month club offering. Pours clear gold - ice tea like. Not much of a nose - some faint pine. Taste of some citrus, caramel and bitter hops - but kinda rushed (goes to the bitterness quickly). Ok. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

has a clear amber pour with thin eggshell color head. there’s a caramel, straw, light sour dough, and floral aroma. flavors of citrus zest, grapefruit, yeast, caramel malt, and resinous pine. average overall and would be a good summer time session ipa.

Bottle. Pleasant nose with hints of hops and caramel. Murky dark Amber body with a lasting white layer of head. Mouthfeel is a little overly effervescent from carbonation but the flavor is good.

Pours a very hazy dark orange with big off white frothy head. Grapefruit, hay, caramel on the nose. Very smooth with light carbonation, sweet caramel notes through to the finish. Hints of grassy hops without too much bitterness. Very well balanced.

Thanks to Chris for bringing this bottle over! Smooth fresh nose. The beer starts very floral, intense bitter-floral with a nice slight malty body. The mainpart is a bit sharp-bitter, great floralness, smooth, easy to drink with deepness. Nice!

Thanks to erzengel!! Pours a clear drop golf color with a light tan head. The smell is citrus, mild malt. The taste is fruit, citrus, some bitterness. Light+ body with average carbonation.
