Typical pale malt that is slighlty off tasting for the style, although not a bad lager.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and straw. The flavor is sweet malty combined with notes of caramel and straw, leading to a lightly bitter finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

I had this, or at least a version of this at the May fest celebration this year. (09)
It was the most amazing beer ever. I talked to the brewer and he told me he finished it Saaz hops. I have been trying to duplicate this beer at home ever since.

Active orange with a thin white slowly fading head and suspended matter. Aroma of caramel, toffee, malt, fruit and mild cornstalk and alcohol as it warms. Taste of Munich-esque malt, toasted and sweet malt, toffee, bread and dough. Finishes a bit spunky with some alcohol and mild vegetation.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 kramer (3376) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 29, 2008
12 oz bottle. Pours a clear straw yellow body, small fizzy off-white head. Lots of carbonation. The nose is very grassy with a bit of toasty maltiness. Toasty malt dominates with a decent amount of residual sweetness. A lightly bitter hoppy kick on the back end with a very prevalent alcohol flavor. Medium bodied with a slight stickiness in the middle before the alcohol heats things up on the finish. This just seems a bit too simple and boring. Why is the alcohol flavor so overpowering in just a 5.5% ABV beer?
