Bottle. A rich deep orange brew with a thin white head. The nose has some massive raspberry and dough. There is also a light nutty character. The taste starts with dough and finishes with a fair amount of raspberries. However, this is not very sweet, while retaining a solid raspberry character. There is also a little hint of leather funk. This had a thick mouth feel. A nice fruit beer and surprisingly good for Millstream.

12oz bottle. Iíd guess anyone slagging this beer has never tried to make a raspberry tripel before. Big sweet golden malt body, but an even bigger pronounced raspberry flavor. Unfiltered orange-pink-tan body, thin steady white head. The raspberry really balances out the big malt and maybe candi sugar. Brutal and full bodied, but also a pretty enjoyable venture.

Bottle. Poured a slightly hazy medium orange color. The head was creamy, a few fingers high and off white. Smelled of clove, hay, and white pepper. There were also whiffs of ginger and berry. Medium bodied and slightly sweet with mild warming alcohol. Hay, cereal grain, clove, and fruit (pear, raspberry, apricot) flavors. Pretty good.

Bottle @ home, courtesy of pepsiedcan. RESPECT MALT LIKKA, MY BRO. Pours a hazy orange appearance with a small, off white head. The aroma is actually pretty nice with a rich raspberry puree nose. Somewhat syrupy, thick raspberry dessert bar, a bit tart, kind of chewy flavor. Actually, it really just tastes like a raspberry dessert bar. Wow, this sounded fucking stupid as fuck but Iíd totally love to beer bong and get completely fucked on this shit. They just donít make shit these days like this that is so easy to get fucked up on. Super easy to get buzzed quick on this 9.5% abv kidís drink. Best Iowan Raspberry beer that Iíve had so far in 2013.

On tap at SPSBF. Pours a hazy gold with a white head that dissiptes slowly to the edges. Aroma has some nice raspberries backed by some sweet grains and belgian yeast. Flavor has a lot of sweet raspberries with a grain backing and a nice underlying yeast note.

Draft at the Millstream tap room. The sign at the tap shows this is 8% abv, not 9.5%. But there may be widely different batches. A bubbly amber colored beer, with the bubbles ebbing to a thin layer of foam. I canít smell much, for some reason, and my nose ISNíT stuffy at this time. Just get some malt in the nose. Malt is thick; I spilled some on my hand and itís very sticky. The blend of tripel and raspberry hits it pretty right. Fuity sweetness is not overly done, and the result may be drier than the usual tripel. Taste of unfiltered yeast may be keeping the fruit taste down, too. Thick mouthfeel. A slight grainy smell once I get to the bottom.

Tap @ Monkís. Cloudy pinkish orange with a shaving-cream type head which fades to leave. Slight fruit nose with a little band-aid. Medium-heavy body with light carbonation. Starts sweet a fruity (raspberry, ripe peaches, bananas) and then develops a slight tartness, finishing much like it starts. A subtle Belgian yeastiness underlies the whole ale. This is a quite complex and relatively heavy fruit beer, not the more typical summer refresher.

Not a very special pour, and surprisingly lackluster with just an amber color. Aroma is really light. Caramel and malts quickly replaced by lots of raspberry flavor. Not bad overall.

Aroma is raspberries and malts. The flavor is raspberries, malts and finishes mildly spicy.

Pours a light crimson, translucent, looks somewhat dull. Aroma of ripe raspberries, very striking, reminds me of a raspberry lambic, however this doesnít translate well in the flavor, somewhat flat raspberries are almost non-existant in the flavor, however has a crisp clean aftertaste
