Cask at The Bree Louise, London. Not a big Cider fan or expert, but really didn’t like this one. Hazed golden body, looks like Hoegarden. No head. Woody and sour-fruit. harsh juices.

Cask at The Bree Louise, London. Orange color, no head. Fruity aroma, apples, some vinous notes. Fruity flavor, a bit more pears than apples. Refreshing and with some nice sourish notes.

Cask @ Bree Louise, Euston NW1. Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow color with no head. Has a fresh apple and pear aroma. Fruity slightly sweet apple flavor with hints of pear. Has a fruity sweetish apple and pear finish.

An unclear golden cider with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of apples and vinegar. The flavor is acidic with notes of apples and vinegar, leading to a tart finish.

On tap at Wellington Arms, Bedford, in 1st Welly Summer Cider Festival ’11. Orange-gold with just a little haziness. Very sweet fruit drink taste. Dusty, musty, sweet fruity taste with a trace of astringency and cigarette ash. Very slight dryness afterwards. Absolutely delicious.

Sour scrumpy aroma, more apple than pear. Cloudy orange. Super-sweet fruits, but a great sharpness too. Pretty much classic scrumpy with its balance between the sharp and the sweet.

Box@3rd Stortford Beer Festival, Bishops Stortford. Hazy goldeny yellow colour with a small white bubbly head. Aroma is apples, yeast, wood, some toffee and mild pear notes. Flavour is apples, yeast and some mild wooden and pear notes as well.

Unclear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate apple, scrump apples, light aceton. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light acidic with a long duration, dry dry. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is flat. [20101228]
