500ml bottle from the Potten End village fete 2011. Pours murky amber, a few bubbles but no head. Nose is subtle. Standard sweet/sour apple aroma with the sweet notes dominant. Taste is sweet, with some sour crispness and sharpness. Quite tart and with a bit of woodiness and softness in the finish. Nice.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Pours a cloudy almost milky yellow with a small rough head. Peely appley aroma. Medium body, very low in carbonation, dry and astringent authentic apple notes yet with an underlying sweetness. The whisky accents are there but subdued. Again a late sourness. 110510

Bottled. An unclear light golden cider with a thin white head. The aroma has strong notes of sour apples, apple core, and a bit of wood. The flavor is sweet with notes of wood, sour apples, apple core, and a bit of whiskey, leading to a dry, tart, and woody finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Yellow haze. Boozy acetone nose. Dry but with a sweet slippery fruitiness. Whisky is mainly apparent in the finish. Heavy wood, no peat. Very drinkable being flat as it is. Not a bad nip.

Bottle 50cl. @ Chriso’s pre GBBF Shindig ’09.
Unclear hazy medium yellow color with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is apple, barrel - wood, whisky - alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20090801]

A Mes rate: bottle at the ever brilliant Chris O’s Pre GBBF Extravaganza.
Cloudy yellow gold appearance. Good apple aroma with some slight eggy hints. Really good sweet and dry flavour, excellent apples, not too much barrel, jusicy as hell. Loads of sweetness. Excellent.
