COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our driest cider. Aged in red wine barrels this is a full flavoured cider with hints of wood tannin. A cider for the connoisseur.

From Bag in Box at The Marlborough Arms, Cirencester, Gloucs. Cloudy gold with no head. Dry bittering apple flavour, skinny, there is a hint of oak. It’s fine.

Cask at the Cock, Hackney. Short review due to session. Murky orange colour. For me, the taste of this was overpowered by metal and blood. Very obvious red wine presence. I love Rioja, but I don’t think it improves this cider. My girlfriend called it ’bad breath cider’.

Draught @ Bree Louise. Fairly sour, thin and astringent with a noticeable white wine influence. Quite dry with some tart apples, but just not hitting the right notes for me.

Bag in box @ Bree Louise, Euston NW1. Pours a hazy yellow color with no head. Has a fruity tart weak woody apple aroma. Fruity tart woody apple flavor. Has a fruity tart woody apple finish.

Scopey (6651) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 11, 2012
Cask at The Cider Tap, London. It pours cloudy orange, with a thin white film. The nose is apple, red wine, pink lady apple, light tartness, wood and farmyard. The taste is smooth apple, red grape, pear, some tartness, light astringency, faint vinegar and wood. Medium body and low carbonation. Smooth, well balanced and dangerously drinkable.

On tap at Craft Beer Company with Sarah. Pours a clear amber with a white head that dissipates immediately and completely. Aroma has a rich ripe apples with a bit of underlying tartness. Flavor has a nice sweet apple with a bit of tartness to balance the cider nicely.

Drank at Mes&Sims wedding. Slightly hazy yellow to pale brown with very little head. Very pleasant, enjoyed this. Nice hint of apples, some woody notes, nicely dry and sweet.

Cask conditioned Gravity pour Olde England Northampton. A cloudy orange coloured cider with no head. Dry tannin notes in this. No obvious rioja character. The apple flavours are sweetish. Tasty and juicy. A nice cider.

On tap at Wellington Arms, Bedford, in 1st Welly Summer Cider Festival ’11. Dark Orange with slight haziness. More of a fruity aroma than I noted in their rum cask cider. Some astringency and fruity sourness in the taste, but the main impression is dryness. I would have liked a sweet edge to be honest.
