3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Deep clear reddish brown pour with a one finger white head that leaves a beautiful lattice of lacing. Aroma is citrus, earth, grapefruit, toast, caramel, tangerine, and mandarin. Flavor is smackingly bitter with lots of orange, grapefruit, caramel, and toast. Like the Hopzilla, sweetness is low for the style, allowing a full gamut of hop flavors to prevail. Palate is medium to full bodied, with lively carbonation and a resinous bitter finish.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Milly’s and it pours amber red with a thin but long lasting head and nice clarity. The aroma is rich with hops and a background of sweet malts. A nice full bodied mouthfeel and a taste that is hoppy through and through, strong and bitter. It is one of Milly’s better recipes

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a lgiht amber with a thin head. Aroma is a nice fruity hop character- clean citrusy hops, a bit green but not sign of the metallicyness I get form some cascade beers, Flavor has hitns of fruity amarillo, and cascade, floral zesty and citrus- light pine needle as well- ok malt backbone and a pretty good hop bitterness. NIce.

Named after the city in which Milly’s is located (Manchester, NH) the taste is worthy of having the city’s name attached. Although i am not a huge IPA fan, i can make an exception for this pub classic

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice amber color with a medium head and lace. Pretty nice hoppy flavor to it with sweet notes a slightly bitter finish. Not quite as strong or flavorful as most other IPA’s I’ve had but this is something I would get again.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask at GBBF 2007. A hazy copper colored beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of grapefruit from Cascade hops. The flavor is sweet again with strong notes of grapefruit from the Cascade hops, leading to a dry bitter finish, where the alfa acids makes their mark.
