Named after the city in which Milly’s is located (Manchester, NH) the taste is worthy of having the city’s name attached. Although i am not a huge IPA fan, i can make an exception for this pub classic

Pint at tavern. Came with little head, ok lacing. Aroma of mild citrus, taste is strong hop flavor of citrus, giving way to piney flavors that end in a grapefruit bitterness. Some very slight caramel malt flavors are in the background. Fin is is clean and crisp.

Tap at Milly’s in Manchester, NH. Decent enough IPA, but falls a bit short on character. Hops are a bit muted. Mild citrus hop and mild malt.

Draft @ brew pub. Nice amber with plenty of retention, leaves sheets of lace down the pint. Nose is caramel covered hops. Flavors of pine hops, caramel malt and a slightly lingering bitterness. The bitterness does stack up and get stronger as it warms. It was a great way to cap of my meal and brewer. Peter can sure brew some beers.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours an orange-brown with a small white head. Aroma of lots of caramel malt, very malty really with just a touch of hops. Flavor is also malty with some spicy bitter hops in the finish. Definitely good for a malt-forward IPA, although I’m always looking for the hops when I order an IPA... 6/4/7/3/12 [3.2/5]

Growler thanks to jcwattsrugger shared at the UFC Fight Night. Poured a nice orange/amber with hardly any head at all but great body. Aroma earth, dirty citrus rinds, slight alcohol. Smooth body with light carbonation. Flavor of earth, dirty caramel, and citrus.

I thought this was pretty solid for a local brew pub. Good citrus aroma, pleasant lingering bitterness and a clean finish. Pretty solid hop content and a refreshing palate. Try it if you’re in manchester!

Growler thanks to JCwatts. Pours out a nice copper color with a thin white head. Aroma is of caramel malts, and light citrus hops. Taste is similar to aroma, notes of citrus hops, light grain and some caramel with a slightly bitter finish.

On tap at brewpub. Golden pour with amber hue, smallish head and some lacing. Some light caramel notes and some toastiness with a pretty good kick at the back end. This reminded me a bit of the old SN Anniversary ale. A bit light on the malts and so a liitle one dimensional on hops. Okay.

On tap at Milly’s Tavern. Pours a deep amber color with a thin off white head. One of the darkest IPAs I have come across. Aroma is citrus hops toned down considerably with caramel malt. Moderate bodied with a nice bitter finish. Flavor is hops with an earthy background. I would call it a "dirty" IPA.

A dark reddish amber IPA with no head. A lightly floral hoppy aroma with light caramel malt, smooth. In mouth, a very hoppy IPA, loads of grapefruits, lacking malt, drying the mouth, not bad but a bit imbalanced. Medium bodied. On tap at the brewpub, April 5, 2010.
