3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap at Milly’s in Manchester, NH. Very dark pour with a nice brown head. Rich roastiness with molasses both on the aroma and taste. Palate could be a bit thicker but not bad. Good brew.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Black pour with a thin tan head. Roasted malts, caramel, and earthen loam like notes lead to mocha and cocoa. Flavors are not very pronounced. The palate is a bit thin for the style with a sweet but unoffensive finish.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft. Nice poor from the bartender. Thick full tan head. Lots of retention. Sheets of lace. Nose is dark fruits, molasses and roasted malt. Flavor is spot on the nose with chocolate nuances. Body is medium maybe a tad toward the full side. The texture is creamy with just a trace of the %7.5 abv, not distracting in anyway. Brewmaster did a nice job here. Not real complex but still well made.
