Mid-brown, loose head. Refreshing sweet malts. Some hops to keep it crisp and interesting. Easy lunchtime quaffer.
MrWalker (928), Stockholm, Sweden Jun 3, 2005 Cask @ St.Radegund, Cambridge, UK. 26th May 2005 Light copper coloured. Odd hoppy lager taste. Butterscotch and peanuts! Some sweetness too. A bit sharp and maybe too young. Dry flowery aftertaste. Different. Sigmund (1830), Hafrsfjord, Norway May 29, 2005 Updated: May 30, 2005Sampled cask conditioned at the St. Radegund pub in Cambridge, together with MrWalker. This tiny real ale pub is famous for this session ale, brewed specially for them. Golden brownish colour, if my memory serves me right. Malty aroma. Malty smooth flavour, easily drinkable. Nice! Tolerable hops. I could easily have downed a few of these, if it hadn’t been on top of a beer festival session.
