Malty, fruity taste with notes of biscuity malt, dried fruit, honey, a touch of toast and citrus. Light body, with a certain sweetness and a moderate bitterness. Quite decent.

Clear medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, light to moderate hoppy, citrus, lemon. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, malt sweet. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20111228]

Quoth Anna: Yellow, nicely conditioned, tight head. Slightly sweet. Hint of bitter orange in the aroma. Taste is watery in the mouth though it has pleasant hops. Too minerally. Quoth Phil: Swimming pool.

Cask - The White Lion, Norwich. Poured with a lacy white head with fair retention on a clear golden coloured body. Sweet and peachy aromas with a touch of apple and a hint of yeast. Lovely peach and tangerine flavours supplemented by a firm and rounded biscuit maltiness. Light to medium body, soft mouthfeel, lingering softish zesty, pithy finish. Another solid offering from Milton.

Cask at the St Radegund, Cambridge on 3rd June 2011. Clear gold with thin lacing head of white foam. Rich hoppy aroma, then a delightful liquid of fruity and grassy hoppiness, citrus notes and a fruity finish on an engaging mouthfeel.

Cask, gravity, at the Pig ’n’ Falcon, St Neots, Cambridgeshire, in the Bank Holiday Extravaganza Beer Festival ’11. Gold with a small white head. Sharp grassy hop aroma. Heavy biscuity grain taste with an oily sweet fruitiness, not quite the promised orange. Mid bitter finish. Interesting, complex beer, as you’d expect from this excellent brewery.
