Handpump, The Pembury, London: Biscuit brown to amber with a creamy head. Fruity nose with a mild Golden Syrup note behind some herbal hop notes. Watery woody-herb flavours with some mildly astringent tannins keeping a gentle malt sweetness in check. Simple, rustic, and nice enough.

A Mes rate:
Cask at the Pembury. Ian hit the nail on the head, straight forward but balanced and quaffable. never going to be a big scorer in any department but enjoyable all the same. White wine hint in the aroma, citric hops in the flavour.
